Full time -- CT/Radiologic Technologist (7a-7p, 7p-7a) - Imaging Services Department
Hendry Regional Medical Center is a leading healthcare provider committed to delivering exceptional diagnostic services to our community. Our team of dedicated healthcare professionals utilizes advanced imaging technologies to assist in the accurate diagnosis and treatment planning for our patients. We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Radiologic Technologist with CT experience to join our team and provide high-quality imaging services in a collaborative environment.

Position Overview:

Under the general supervision of the Director of Imaging Services, HRMC is seeking a qualified Radiologic Technologist with additional training or experience in CT (Computed Tomography) to perform diagnostic imaging procedures for our patients. As part of our imaging team, you will be responsible for providing excellent patient care, ensuring safety protocols are followed, and assisting in the production of clear, diagnostic-quality images.

Primary Duties:

Perform standard radiographic exams (X-rays) using appropriate techniques, positioning, and safety measures.

Conduct CT scans, including head, chest, abdominal, and other imaging studies as required.

Prepare patients for imaging procedures, explaining the process to ensure comfort and understanding.

Ensure patient safety by following radiation protection protocols and adhering to best practices in radiation dose management.

Maintain accurate patient records, including imaging results and any relevant notes.

Assist radiologists and physicians in interpreting images when needed.

Operate and maintain imaging equipment in compliance with safety and quality standards.

Provide a high level of patient care, demonstrating professionalism, empathy, and respect for patient confidentiality.

Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide efficient and effective patient care.

Qualifications:

High School Graduate or GED equivalent from a department of education accredited program required.

A Florida Department of Health Radiologic Certificate (license), ARRT and BLS (AHA) are required.
CT Certificate with the ARRT and experience in both X-ray and CT is preferred

Minimum of 1 year of experience preferred.

Must have thorough education or training in the basics of medical terminology.

Bilingual in Spanish and English is highly preferred due to diverse client base.

Ability to communicate effectively with patients from various backgrounds

Strong customer service skills and ability to multi-task while working in a high-volume work environment required.
Able to work effectively with team members, supervisors, patients and their families to accomplish team goals.

Demonstrated knowledge of computers and proficiency in the use of an electronic health record system required, E-Clinical Works preferred. Knowledge of web-based programs and Microsoft Office suite of products including Outlook, Word and Excel preferred.

Status: Full time

12 Hour Shifts, 36 hours per week, shift days and times vary
