Dr. Robert L. Kalb is an accomplished orthopedic surgeon with extensive medical and academic experience. A 1976 honors graduate of The Ohio State University College of Medicine, he earned his undergraduate degree Magna Cum Laude from Capital University. Dr. Kalb completed his family practice residency at The Toledo Hospital and his orthopedic surgery residency at the Medical College of Ohio, where he served as chief resident and won the Ohio College of Surgeons Research Award.He has held academic roles as a clinical assistant professor at the Medical College of Ohio and adjunct professor at the University of Toledo. Dr. Kalb also serves on the editorial board of the *American Family Physician Journal* and has been an instructor in sports medicine certification courses.
Certified by both the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery and the American Board of Family Practice, Dr. Kalb is widely published and has lectured globally. He is active in his community, providing orthopedic consultation to local high schools, and has participated in medical missions to Pakistan, Africa, and South America. Outside of medicine, his passions include skiing, scuba diving, flying, and playing the trumpet.
